Resource Directory FAQ's
What exactly is a SHARE Network Resource Directory?
SHARE Network Resource Directory is a web-based directory that contains comprehensive listings of services that are relevant to job seekers including services provided by government and faith-based or community organizations.
Does it cost anything?
There is no cost to the members listed in the directory or for anyone to use the directory to perform searches or referrals.
What types of organizations are in the directory?
The directory contains all types of service organizations that provide assistance to individuals seeking to obtain, retain or advance in employment. These organizations are government agencies, faith-based organizations and community organizations.
I’m already in a similar organization; why should I be in more than one directory?
Just as with any business, getting the word out is important, so being listed in more than one directory will only help you. The time to enroll and keep your posting updated is minimal. In addition, in the SHARE Network Resource Directory, you can be sure that your information is always current, since you control it.
How do I get my organization enrolled/registered into the directory?
It only takes a couple of minutes to become enrolled/registered. Go online to http://ShareNetworkMo.org and select the “Become a Member” button. You will be asked to review and agree to some basic guidelines and then you will complete a simple application form. That is it! Periodically, you will receive an e-mail to confirm that your information is current.
Is there an approval process?
Yes, there is an approval process. Once you submit your application online, it will be reviewed by someone in your area to make sure there is no inappropriate information and that any regulated service providers (licensed day care, etc.) are current and in good standing. The approval process takes less than 5 business days.
When will the directory be available?
The directory will be launched on September 1, 2006.
